David Barlow

David Barlow has studied animals, both in the wild and when captive. In all cases, when he paints them, he sets them in scenes relevant to the particular animal.

The following paintings are all of animals found in the African continent.

The painting ‘African Bull Elephant’ is for sale, presented double mounted and in a 1½” plain wood frame (outside measurements 19″ x 24″) for £300. David has also produced a limited edition print run (of 50 prints) of this painting and these are on sale, signed, numbered and mounted, for £34.

The painting ‘African Elephant’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” gold frame (outside measurements 13″ x 15″) for £38.

The painting ‘Zebra’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1″ black frame (outside measurements 18″ x 22″) for £225.

The painting ‘Meerkats’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” two-tone wood frame (outside measurements 22″ x 29″) for £225.

The painting ‘Meerkat’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” silver frame (outside measurements 16″ x 13″) for £58.

The painting ‘Gorilla Portrait’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” off-white frame (outside measurements 18″ x 22″) for £128.

The painting ‘Lowland Gorilla’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” gold frame (outside measurements 18″ x 22″) for £75.

The painting ‘Pertinax’ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” off-white frame (outside measurements 20″ x 17″) for £143. Pertinax is one of the group of gorillas living at Paignton Zoo.

The painting ‘Pertinax 2′ is for sale, presented mounted and in a 1½” off-white frame (outside measurements 16″ x 13″) for £38.
